Rheumatoid arthritis

Many laboratories measure rheumatoid factor (RF) with nephelometry or turbidomet. However, these methods don't distinguish between the different RF isotypes, and RF IgA and IgM in particular can give important additional diagnostic guidance.1-6 The EliA Rheumatoid arthritis panel offers a full range of fully automated RF isotypes plus the best-in-class CCP2 - providing early diagnostic guidance and potentially improved outcomes for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
The tests available to support the diagnosis of RA are:

EliA RF IgM (14-5600-01)

EliA RF IgM - best-in-class performance and fully automated10 Sensitivity and specificity of EliA RF IgM and 4 commercial ELISAs for RF IgM, in 100 RA patients and 178 disease controls. Sensitivity and specificity of RF tests are highly dependent on the patients panel.
